EverCommerce is seeking a Director of Financial Systems to join our growing Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for managing a growing team of Financial Systems resources who support NetSuite, Coupa, and OneStream.

One of the primary areas of focus for the Director of Financial Systems is leading a large-scale system migration effort into NetSuite and Zone Advanced Billing across the existing EverCommerce portfolio as well as onboarding and integrating new acquisitions within the Financial Systems software stack

You communicate effectively up and down the chain of command to ensure that you understand entity-wide strategic priorities, how your team’s mission fits into that plan, and to ensure that your team is executing effectively and efficiently. You take ownership of your work and that of your team, and self-correct when necessary to get back on track. A key element to this role requires a charismatic team lead who inspires their team and has the ability to build a world class Financial Systems department.

EverCommerce is currently located in Denver’s RiNo Arts District, walking distance from the 38th & Blake light rail station. The EverCommerce team is distributed across North America, with more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leader responsible for the delivery of company wide effort to migrate solution organizations into NetSuite ERP and Zone Advanced Billing (NetSuite SuiteApp) for multiple subsidiaries (40+ subsidiaries over multiple years) in addition to supporting additional large-scale efforts from new system implementations, process & procedural improvements, organizational efficiencies and scaling Financial Systems to thrive in a SOX compliant environment
  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management & new feature implementations for both OneStream and Coupa by providing guidance to members of the Financial Systems team and appropriate end user stakeholders
  • Work with GMs and Presidents to discover and execute operational efficiencies during the design of implementation plans
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across multiple office locations to design controls over the system implementations as well as the controls over the go forward Order to Cash process
  • Lead systems requirements gathering leveraging 3rd party consultants on future implementations while concurrently managing ongoing implementations
  • Support and administer data conversion/migration and user training services with 3rd party consultants or internal resources
  • Prepare testing scenarios with operational users designed specifically to address each subsidiary’s needs
  • Ability to think out of the box and be creative to address operational issues that arise
  • Own the implementation budgets providing regular comparison to actuals’ updates to senior management and ensuring the projects remain in line with budget
  • Develop and be held accountable to driving operational and cost efficiencies over multiple system implementations

Must Haves

  • NetSuite or other related ERP experience, 7-10+ years
  • Coupa Employee Expense & Procure to Pay and OneStream experience, 2-5 years
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com
  • Strong background in Organizational Effectiveness & driving Process and Procedural Improvements
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or IT Systems
  • Experience with SAAS and technology services
  • Proven ability to multi-task and deal with changing requirements
  • Strong understanding of accounting, Quote to Cash process and billing systems
  • Proven organizational, time management, project management, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, writing and communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to stay focused and positive in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to liaise with different departments and multiple business disciplines
  • Ability to build and maintain great relationships

Compensation: The target salary for this role is $160,000-170,000 per year in Colorado and most remote locations, and there are bonus opportunities for this role as well. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
