How we started

Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with over 2000 executives on creating and maintaining a personal brand, usually to assist in a transition. And over the years, I understood that:

We created Career Con-X at the intersection of executive transition and digital personal branding.

Our goal:

One way to achieve this goal is to help executives manage their personal brand. We created our do-for-you services because busy executives wanted a bit of help with establishing their brands. Once launched, these seasoned senior managers are able to maintain and grow their brands with the help of the Career Con-X app.

Patrice Barber - Founder


Patrice Barber brings 20+ years in entrepreneurship with three successful exits, focused in Digital marketing, CRM, and SaaS.  

She is known for bringing over 200 execs through their transitions connecting them to a network of over 14 partnering organizations and 5000 business owners, CEO’s and entrepreneurs. Most recently she launched Career ConX a personal CRM app, and is Founder of The Executives in Transition Program, and Board Chair for TIE Denver.


From her early work in collaborating on the Colorado Economic Blueprint led by Governor Hickenlooper, producing the Entrepreneur Program selected by the US Military Transition Assistance Program, to more recent work with the Global Minded Educational Conference and TIE Con Denver Global Summits in 2018 and 2019 curated in Denver, bringing in over 40 presenters and
attendees from China, India, Japan, Dubai, UK and Europe, she focuses on facilitating access to capital for companies, fostering connections across industries, creating a collaborative environment across the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and working with industry leaders on creating a thriving business environment for startup and scale up companies.
